Medifit
“How can we help people to exercise properly?”
Medifit is the exercise assessment solution that checks users’ health through standalone product and prescribes proper ways to exercise through smart devices.
Role & Outcome
My role in this project was researching wellness care service stakeholders and suggest data modelled system mapping, UI designs for TV and kiosk console as part of a health assessment system and key screens for a web app.

Background
As the elderly population grows, their health-related concerns and needs are increasing.
For that, all we know that exercise is one of the most significant activity to keep ourselves fit and healthy. However, it, sometimes, causes injury or disease such as cardio attack if we exercise with wrong methods.
Thus many researchers and experts insist “Exercise should be prescribed.”
Data Modeling
Product Service and System Values
Through desk research, we discovered the most important values for our product, service and system and we started to design the health assessment system and its service flow.
Usability Testing
The usability test process was conducted through the first prototype and its service journey.
Through observation and in-depth interviews with both end users (the elderly) and the service provider, we discovered the usability issues. For example, almost process of assessment was explained in text with technical terms, so the target audience had a difficulty to understand the process.
Design Solution: All in one health assessment system that cares both service stakeholders (wellness service managers and the elderly).
At the end of the service journey, a wellness consultant can utilise a dedicated web app to determine the assessment result and explain to the user efficiently through visuals.
